1. Handle Only in a Controlled Setting
Products sold by Body and Science are intended to be handled only by trained personnel in a properly equipped laboratory. Do not open, reconstitute, or handle these materials in a home, office, vehicle, or any other uncontrolled environment.
Improper handling can lead to:
- Chemical exposure and inhalation hazards
- Contamination of the material or the workspace
- Degradation of the compound, invalidating any result
- Laboratory accidents and injury
2. Required Safety Measures
By purchasing from us you confirm that you will:
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves, eye protection, lab coat)
- Work in a ventilated space or fume hood where the protocol calls for one
- Store each compound at the temperature stated on its product page
- Follow your institution’s chemical hygiene plan and standard operating procedures
- Classify, label, and keep safety data sheets in line with the UAE’s GHS-aligned chemical labelling requirements
- Dispose of materials and consumables under the applicable UAE federal and local environmental and hazardous-waste rules, or the equivalent rules where you are
3. Storage
Lyophilized material should be kept sealed, dry, and away from light at the temperature given on the product page. Once reconstituted, stability drops sharply — follow the guidance for that specific compound. Ambient temperatures across the UAE and the wider Gulf sit far above the storage range for most of these materials for much of the year, so collect deliveries promptly and move them to cold storage without leaving them in a vehicle or a hot lobby. Storage outside stated conditions voids any damage claim.
4. No Human or Animal Use
These products must never be administered to humans or animals, and must never be used for therapeutic, diagnostic, preventative, cosmetic, or recreational purposes. They are not medicines, they are not health or dietary supplements, and they are not cosmetics. They hold no MOHAP registration or marketing authorisation.
Nothing on this website is an instruction, protocol, recommendation, or encouragement to use any product in or on a living subject.
5. Customer Responsibility
The customer assumes full responsibility for:
- Understanding every hazard associated with the material ordered
- Verifying that import, possession, and use are lawful where they are — rules differ between the UAE and each GCC country, and a compound that may be received here may be controlled or prohibited elsewhere
- Obtaining any import permit or clearance the destination country requires
- Implementing appropriate risk assessments and safety procedures
- Training anyone who will handle the material
- Securing the material against access by minors or untrained persons
6. In an Emergency
For a suspected exposure, ingestion, or injury in the UAE, call an ambulance on 998, or the police on 999, immediately. Outside the UAE, call your local emergency number. Do not contact us first — we are not a medical service and cannot advise on exposure. Take the vial and its label with you so clinicians can see what the material is.
