By accessing, browsing, or purchasing from Body and Science through bodyandscience.ae, you (the “Customer”) agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to any part of them, do not use this Site or purchase these products.

Research use only. All products sold by Body and Science are supplied strictly for laboratory research. They are not medicines, health products, foods, supplements, or cosmetics, are not for human or animal consumption, and are not registered with or approved by the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP).

1. Eligibility

To place an order you confirm that:

  • You are 21 years of age or older
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
  • You are acquiring products for lawful laboratory research only
  • You will not resupply, administer, or divert the products to human or animal use

We may refuse or cancel any order, and may require proof of age or of institutional affiliation.

2. Research Use Only

All products are sold strictly for laboratory research. They are not medicines, health products, supplements, foods, or cosmetics; they are not for human or animal consumption; and they hold no registration or marketing authorisation from the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP). 3. Orders and Pricing

All prices are in UAE dirhams (AED). Where UAE VAT applies it is charged at 5% and shown on your order confirmation. Placing an order is an offer to buy; a contract forms when we dispatch the order. We may correct pricing or description errors at any time before dispatch, and will offer you the corrected price or a full refund.

4. Payment

Payment is taken in full at checkout, in AED, through our payment provider. Orders are not processed until payment clears. If your card is issued outside the UAE your bank may apply its own conversion rate and a foreign-transaction fee, neither of which we control or receive. You confirm you are authorised to use the payment method supplied.

5. Shipping, Customs, and Duties

We ship within the UAE and to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman. Rates, processing times, and delivery responsibilities are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms. GCC orders are exported from the UAE and may attract customs duty, import VAT, and clearance fees in the destination country; those are payable by the Customer, who is also the importer of record and is responsible for any permit that import requires.

6. Returns and Refunds

All sales are final. Replacements and refunds are limited to the circumstances described in our Refund & Return Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Customer Responsibilities

The Customer is solely responsible for:

  • Compliance with all UAE federal and local law that applies to them, and with the law of the destination country for a GCC order
  • Holding any licence, registration, permit, or institutional approval their work requires
  • Safe handling, storage, and disposal of all materials
  • Supplying an accurate delivery address and a contactable mobile number
  • Securing materials against access by minors or untrained persons

8. Prohibited Conduct

You may not resell our products as consumer goods, relabel or repackage them for human use, make therapeutic claims about them, or re-export them in breach of UAE export and customs rules or those of the destination country.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on bodyandscience.ae — text, product descriptions, branding, logos, images, and layout — is the property of Body and Science and may not be reproduced without written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of any order is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost research, data, or profits. Nothing in these Terms excludes any right you have under UAE consumer protection legislation that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Body and Science against any claim arising from your handling, use, storage, import, or disposal of the products, or from your breach of these Terms.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively before the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates, and both parties submit to their jurisdiction.

Before filing, please contact us — we would rather resolve the matter directly.

13. Language

These Terms are published in English. If we publish an Arabic translation and the two differ, the Arabic text prevails to the extent UAE law requires it to. Proceedings before the UAE courts are conducted in Arabic, and documents may need to be filed in certified translation.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the rest remain in full effect.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. The version in force is the one published here on the date you place your order.
